Aluminium Casting refers to casting process, which pours the liquid aluminium or aluminium alloy to the metal pattern, and then form the required shape of aluminium products after cooling and curing. The main production method of aluminium casting includes Gravity Casting, Pressure Casting(Die Casting), Low Pressure Casting and Squeeze Casting. They have their own characteristics, and suitable for different production needs and product requirement.

Gravity Casting

This is one of basic casting process, which pour the molten aluminium or aluminium alloy into the metal pattern through its own gravity of aluminium liquid. Gravity Casting divides into sand casting and hard pattern casting. Both are suitable for single and mass production, and the production cost is lower.

Pressure Casting ( Die Casting)

Also known as die casting. It injects the molten aluminium or aluminium alloy into the pattern through high pressure. Its advantage includes good quality, stable dimensions, and suitable for mass production, but it is easy to form air holes and shrinkage.

Low Pressure Casting

In low pressure environment, can provide accurate forming effect, smooth surface, both strength and light weight, high yield, and becomes the main manufacturing technology for high quality wheel hubs

Squeeze Casting

Also known as liquid die forging, molten aluminium or aluminium alloy is injected into an open pattern, and high pressure is applied to cause it to deform and solidify, resulting in a  required casting. This method is suitable for parts requiring high strength and complex shape.
