Carbon:
Material includes more carbon, the hardness can be higher after heat treatment, but it is not the best choice to the welding parts. At the same time, Impact is not good, working life is not longer.
Chromium:
It will improve the mechanical property, hardness and wear resistant of steel material, have a modification on high-temperature oxidation resistance and the characteristic of quenching. Its defect is crack easily during tempering. Chromium promotes the tendency of tempered steel to become brittle.
Manganese:
It improves the harden-ability of steel, and have a modification on strength of normal ally steel. If Manganese is over than 1%, it will affect welding, and reduce the corrosion resistant of material. Adding the appropriate proportion to the steel can strengthen the machinability of the steel.
Nickel:
It improve the strength of steel and impact during working, have a modification on machinability and welding. Regarding to the corrosion resistant, it has a good performance on Acid resistant, alkali resistant and atmospheric corrosion.
