Mineral processing experiments are conducted to select ores for the design ofengineering design of mineral processing plant. The results of mineral processing experiments not only have a direct impact on the reasonable determination of the technological process , equipment selection, product scheme, technical and economic indicators of mineral processing design, but also serve as the basis for whether the mineral processing plant can smoothly achieve the design indicators and obtain economic benefits after being put into operation.
Mineral processing experiments can be divided into three types according to the research purpose: selectivity experiments, process flow experiments, and single technical experiments for mineral processing. According to the scale of the experiments, they can be divided into laboratory experiments, semi industrial experiments, and industrial experiments. For the convenience of clarifying the requirements and description of mineral processing tests, the above two classifications are summarized, and the types of mineral processing tests are divided into six categories: optional tests, laboratory small-scale process tests, laboratory expanded continuous tests, semi industrial tests, industrial tests, and single technical tests for mineral processing
