Diesel Generator

A diesel generator is a small power generation device that uses diesel as fuel and a diesel engine as the prime mover to drive the generator to generate electricity. The entire unit is generally composed of components such as a diesel engine, generator, control box, fuel tank, starting and control battery, protective device, emergency cabinet, etc. Diesel generator sets are used in places that are not connected to the grid, or as emergency power sources in the event of grid failures, as well as for more complex applications such as peak tripping, grid support, and grid output. It can also be used independently for daily power generation and emergency power generation in various households, offices, large, medium and small enterprises.

Installing a diesel generator on a transport truck is called a vehicle mounted power station, which can be widely used in communication, television broadcasting, highways, emergency response, power supply, and military emergency situations that require high speed, mobility, and reliability. It is very convenient to achieve parallel use of multiple vehicle mounted mobile power stations.

Diesel generators used in factories range from 8 kW (11 kVA) to 2000 kW (2500 kVA three-phase) composite. The 2000 kW device can be installed in a 12 meter ISO container, including fuel tanks, controllers, distribution equipment, and all other equipment required for independent power station operation or as a backup for grid power.
