Precision Casting Parts

Precision casting refers to metal parts manufactured by precision casting process, with high dimensional accuracy and complex shape. This casting method is often used to make parts with stringent shape and size requirements, such as some key components in aerospace, automotive, mechanical and medical devices.
Common processes for precision casting include:
1. Investment casting: the wax mold is coated with ceramic material, the wax is melted after drying and hardening, and the metal liquid is injected into the mold shell to form high-precision casting.
2. Coated sand casting: the sand is pre-covered with thermosetting resin to make coated sand, which is hardened after heating. Coated sand has high strength and good precision, which is suitable for complex, thin-wall and high requirements of casting production, but the cost is high, and it is often used for the production of precision castings
3. Precision sand casting: On the basis of traditional sand casting, by improving the precision of sand mold, the production of high-precision castings.
The advantage of this casting technology is that it can manufacture parts with complex shapes and smooth surfaces, reduce machining and material waste, and is suitable for various metals and alloys, such as stainless steel, aluminum alloy and copper alloy.
